ABOUT THE COURSE
This is the most unique birth training course in the world. Taught by two experienced birth practitioners.
You will learn a combination of ancient childbirth wisdom, practical skills, holistic techniques, self development, and business mastery.
After completion you will be a master in physiological birth.
VISION
Maternity care is changing. More women are becoming disillusioned to the over medicalised model of childbirth. Women want autonomy over their bodies and the demand for women centred care is enormous!
As experienced birth practitioners who have left the system, we have a vision for the future of maternity care. A vision that gives the mother full control, responsibility, informed decisions & empowerment over her birth.
This one year course will provide you with all the skills and knowledge to be able to facilitate and support normal, physiological birth during modern times.
The Course That Will
CHANGE THE WORLD
COURSE OVERVIEW
This one year course is completed online in the comfort of your own home. All the modules are accessible from the course area. Once you have completed a module and answered the post-module quiz you will then be able to move on to the next module.
You will be expected to complete a two day 'in person' workshop in order to ensure gold standard practice. These workshops will be held twice a year.
Every month we will run live support seminars online. Here you will be able to get answers to any questions you may have, while meeting other students.
Artemis Birth Attendant Academy is regulated by the When Push Comes To Shove code of conduct.
Once certified, you will be able to register with the WPCTS Birth Keeper directory where you will have ample opportunities to progress your career as a birth attendant.

About The Artemis Birth Attendant Academy
The Artemis Birth Attendant Academy was created by Nickita Starck and Angela Chamberlain in 2022 under the umbrella organisation 'When Push Comes To Shove'
Nickita and Angela decided to join forces to create the childbirth revolution. Education is severely lacking for parents and birth workers alike. The Artemis Birth Attendant Academy Course was born to close the education gap for a much needed resolution.
Angela
Angela has worked in healthcare for over 25 years. She is an award winning midwife with over 12 years midwifery experience. Angela is an expert in natural birth. Holistic therapist. Wife, mother and birth activist.
Angela is also a qualified When Push Comes To Shove Birth Practitioner. She completed The Midwife Lifeboat Course in January 2022
Nickita
Nickita is the founder of When Push Comes To Shove. She is an experienced natural birth practitioner and an expert in alternative/native maternity practice.
Nickita works closely with The World Council For Health and recently spoke at The Better Way Conference in Bath.
Nickita is also an incredible life coach and public speaker specialising in spiritual/self development and a teacher of 'A course in miracles'.
Nickita is a mother to two girls, wife and birth activist.
